Helpful do’s and dont’s for your hire

We’ve put together some useful advice to assist with your hire based on frequently asked questions that we receive.

In order to deliver you bin in the location desired, we will need clear access so our truck can drive in (and out) without obstruction. If you need your bin lifted over a fence please check with us first.
For many cases, if you want to avoid needing a local council permit you will need to have the bin placed on your own land. If you live in a gated community, you may have local regulations that have to be adhered to.
When you are deciding on where you would like your skip bin placed, please consider overhead clearance, not just for the skip bin itself, but also for the delivery truck. Make sure the area is free of branches, low-hanging power lines etc.
We will deliver your bin in the location you desire (if possible). Once delivered, your bin must stay in the same location until it is ready for collection. You must not attempt to relocate the skip yourself.
Even if you have a council permit to place a skip bin on the street, you cannot put the bin where it would impede traffic. Most areas require that you leave at least three metres of clear pavement for drivers.
